Nearly a century ago, Hellertown's Morris Dimmick spearheaded the development of a public space for recreation and relaxation that is still enjoyed by countless local residents. Today, that space bears his name.
The 2023 holiday season in the Saucon Valley area is off to a festive start following the Hellertown-Lower Saucon Chamber's Light Up Night event, which was held in Dimmick Park Friday night.
In addition to traditional Trick-or-Treat, this Halloween there will be something else for families to do in Hellertown, and for those with tiny trick-or-treaters it may be an attractive option.
Nearly perfect weather helped draw thousands of local residents to Community Day in Hellertown, which was held in the borough’s Dimmick Park from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday.
A fun day is in store for everyone who plans to attend Hellertown Community Day this Saturday, Aug. 19.
The carnival continues from 6 to 10 p.m. nightly through Saturday, with fireworks scheduled for 10 p.m. Friday (rain date: Saturday).
Although Sunday started out cloudy and cool, temperatures rose during the day and by early evening the weather in Hellertown was near-perfect for enjoying an outdoor concert.
The 2023 summer concert season in Hellertown will begin later this month, with the first of four free Music in Dimmick Park shows presented by the Hellertown-Lower Saucon Chamber of Commerce, the Borough of Hellertown and local business sponsors.
